Nominations update

Nominations have been running along smoothly so far this week. Currently, we have no queries.

As nominations continue, a few reminders:

• Nominations will remain open through the end of signups.

• Please disambiguate your character nominations! This will make the approval process much easier/faster on our end.

• If we’ve rejected a nomination, it’s most likely because a different version of the same tag has been approved. However, if you’ve checked the tagset and your nomination does not appear at all, please get in contact with us.

• Some of the disambiguations may be a bit unusual due to us trying to get around AO3 synning issues; pay them no mind. If something seems incorrectly disambiguated, however, please let us know. It may be a wandering tag, which we’d need to fix.

 

• If you see any duplicates, misspellings, etc in the tagset, please let us know that as well.

Under TV Shows: Corner Gas, Ditzy Fitzgerald is supposed to be "Fitzy" Fitzgerald.
The name Ditzy did make me laugh, though. 😆

Under The Vampire Diaries (TV), "Bonnie Bennet (Vampire Diaries TV)" should be "Bonnie Bennett (Vampire Diaries TV)".

Nominated Tags (Tortall, Pern)

Under Tortall, "Keladry of Mindelan" is misspelled as "Kelandry of Mindelan".

I don't know every character in the canon so I could be missing something, but I can't figure out who the nominated characters Tekyl and Jellim under Dragonriders of Pern are through the wiki or google, so I'm not sure they exist or if they're misspellings. It might not be an issue but FYI.

The misspelling is fixed.

As to the other issue...hmmm. There are similar-sounding names on the Wiki, so I'm guessing a misspelling. Not sure if this is something that's necessary to deal with during this round, but we will inquire prior to the next round for sure. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, in any case!
