So these are my three favorite couples: Laxus/Mira, Levy/Gajeel (my FT OTP), Elf/Ever but if you want to focus on them as singles, that's great too! Nechayev: I just love her (also a New Frontier reader, so in for the Nechayev Starfleet Intel connection). How might she interact with any of the other women? I also ship her with Ben Maxwell.

Benjamin Maxwell: The Wounded is seriously one of the best episodes, and he makes it. What sort of place do we find for him, as Picard says they will? How might he and Ro interact?

Ro: I always felt like she got done badly in Preemptive Strike, and prefer to have the headcanon that she's working for Intel when she defects. Spin off that or hey, how did Nechayev recruit her?

Shelby: I loved her, and not just in new Frontier. Tell me a story about Commander or Captain Shelby.

Beverly: I just love her and would love something about her doing frontier/colony medicine. She knows what it's like to be on the colony world and not know if help is coming.

Feel free to crossover/expand to Picard, as long as you keep women out of the fridge. I'm not a huge fan of the Beverly is alone for 20 years aspect.
