I got to see this film on the big screen for Easter which was such fun and reminded me how much I love Loretta/Reg and gave me an idea for a new dirtybadwrong ship, oops. Nisus Wettus is such a sweet, soft Mikey character who suffers so prettily – I’d love more of that, at the hands of the jailers or otherwise. Likewise, I’d love Nisus going about his day as a Roman (who doesn’t want to be) in charge of crucifixions and trying to make it a little nicer for everyone.

This fandom was the fandom that introduced me to the concept of m/m slash and all of the wonders that it entails. In particular, I enjoyed stories that featured Xander and Spike, and then I found that I enjoyed Angel/Xander fics. I also liked stories in which all three of them are in a 'family' type of situation.

This is my go-to show for when I need a pick-me-up. I love Tang Yi and Meng Shaofei. I love when they are trapped in the forest after being kidnapped and would love an extension of that scene.

I am not familiar with anything but the show so no donghua or novel details please. I have seen the extra epilogue video from Youku. There are spoilers for it in my request details.
Tang Lian: I just love da-shixiong <3. I think something about identity could be interesting? He belongs to two sects, after all. Or maybe something post episode 25 where Tang Lian is recovering? How does he deal with what happened? Does he hear about the way his friends honored him at the banquet? What is going through his head when he decides to return to them?
Xiao Chong | Prince Bai: How is the emperor faring? He’s wanted this for a long time, but he’d accepted that his brother Xiao Chuhe would be the one to take the throne, so it has to be a huge thing for Emperor Chonghe to get used to! I’m also just invested in his relationship with Xiao Se in general, whether during or post canon. And his right hand man gave him his eyes, so anything to do with that devotion or them getting used to Xiao Chong being able to see and Zang Ming being blind could be interesting!
Xiao Lingchen (Lord Langya’s son): He spent years in exile after his father’s death. People try to get him to take the throne and he uses them instead to stop the coup. He assumes that Xiao Chuhe will understand his plans and play along, and he’s right. He tells the emperor he should give the throne to whatever son he likes the least bc it’s a curse. This character fascinates me, and I’d be happy with whatever you come up with for him!
Luo Mingxuan: Honestly this character gives me second hand embarrassment a lot but I am interested in his feels for/relationship with his shizun. Like, he’s been holding onto these feelings for years and then when he thinks he’s going to lose her he makes the world’s most embarrassing/scandalous love confession in public? I respect that! How does that turn out for him?

I just watched this show recently, and I love them <3 I don't have a lot of specific thoughts right now, but I'd be happy to receive whatever you are inspired to write! I definitely ship Yu Liang/Shi Guang, but you don't have to write something shippy necessarily! Their canon rivalry/bromance is great. I am also very invested in Chu Ying and Shi Guang's friendship/mentorship, and you're totally welcome to write about any of the characters individually.

Mei Changsu: Definitely my favorite character in the show. I am definitely more interested in the current time period of the show, not the flashback setting with Lin Shu, although it’s of course fine to mention that time! I enjoy his “smatter than everyone else in the room” energy as well as the limits of that. He always seems to know what’s going on, but he does make mistakes. If you want to include other characters with him, I particularly enjoy MCS/&XJY, MCS & LC (& FL), MCS/&MNH, MCS & Consort Jing
Xiao Jingyan: I would be interesting in something canon compliant, maybe to do with the identity porn thing. I also ship him with Mei Changsu (and Lin Shu) regardless of how much XJY knows at any point about the fact that they’re the same person. I also really enjoy him with his mom!
Gao Zhan: He’s the kind of character that I didn’t really notice until a certain moment and now I’m super curious. He’s got a lot of power in the palace; how did he get to this position? What did he think when Prince Qi and the Chiyan Battalion got accused of treason? What does he think of the emperor, and how has that changed over the years? After all, he spends all of his time with him. What tipped him over the edge to try to warn Consort Jing? Has he tried to interfere in less noticeable ways in the past?

This is an itsy bitsy fandom on AO3, but if you want to check it out and maybe watch it, it is available for free on YouTube with English subs. The show is 40 episodes long but the episodes are each only a couple of minutes. The whole thing is 2.5 hours
Xiao Tianyu: I love how he goes from an asshole that no one in the sect except da-shixiong can stand to being in absolute puppy love with Wang Xiaoyu! Also him proposing *during* the conversation about him liking her… clown behavior. I’m open to a wide range of themes for him, from the comedy of the show to the angst of the ending/post-canon
Wang Xiaoyu: Like XTY, I’m open to humor or angst for her. I think the way she gradually took her transmigration more seriously (and fell in love with the character she hated) is great. I rewatched the show recently, and her major (music) and pop culture references (Game of Thrones??) caught my attention a lot more this time.
Liu Lin: This is Umbrella Boy btw. I keep having to look up his name. I love the way he twirls into and out of drama, as well as his bromance with his da-shixiong. I also think the way his predictions are always wrong but he keeps making them is very interesting!

The original Shen Qingqiu is one of my favorite characters! He’s so tragic in the narrative because he’s dead before the story starts and yet he hangs over everything, and no one understands him. He definitely was not a perfect person, but I find him a very interesting one! You can go as angsty as you want (incl PIDW canon body horror), write some fix-it fic, interactions with the other peak lords, cuddling with the brothel jiejies… literally I would be happy with so many different things here!
If you want to include a ship, I have *a lot* for SJ… QIjiu, Bingjiu, Jiuplane, Jiuyuan, Bingqijiu, and Qijiuplane are some of my favorites.

Optional story ideas: The Patterson-Gimlin film of 1967, and Patty herself, have always fascinated me (I like to hope the film, and she, are/were real…) I love the way she walked in that film, and how she turned back towards the camera as if to say, “You’ve seen what you came to see, now scoot!” And then she hurried off… towards another Bigfoot waiting for her, perhaps? I’d like to imagine this was her mate… another female Bigfoot! <3
How would life be for Patty after the Patterson-Gimlin film was made? Was she ever aware of the controversy she caused? What did she think of humans after seeing two men on horseback up so close? What was her family life like? How did Patty meet the other female Bigfoot, and how did their love develop? Did she and her mate raise children, either their own from previous encounters or relationships with males, or adopted? Do both mates have similar ideas about humans, or is one more curious than the other? If the story or artwork takes place in the future when Patty and her mate are older, how do they feel about their lives and experiences?

I got to see this film on the big screen for Easter which was such fun and reminded me how much I love Loretta/Reg and gave me an idea for a new dirtybadwrong ship, oops. Nisus Wettus is such a sweet, soft Mikey character who suffers so prettily – I’d love more of that, at the hands of the jailers or otherwise. Likewise, I’d love Nisus going about his day as a Roman (who doesn’t want to be) in charge of crucifixions and trying to make it a little nicer for everyone.

This is my go-to show for when I need a pick-me-up. I love Tang Yi and Meng Shaofei. I love when they are trapped in the forest after being kidnapped and would love an extension of that scene.
I'd love a story in which Tang Yi and Meng Shaofei raise a family together.
A werewolf AU in which they are soulmates would be very welcome.
Omegaverse with Meng Shaofei becoming pregnant and not knowing it until he gets hurt on the job. A protective Tang Yi would be quite wonderful.
Something happy for the boys that does not deal with Tang Yi's prison sentence as prison is extremely triggering for me.

I am not familiar with anything but the show so no donghua or novel details please. I have seen the extra epilogue video from Youku. There are spoilers for it in my request details.
Tang Lian: I just love da-shixiong <3. I think something about identity could be interesting? He belongs to two sects, after all. Or maybe something post episode 25 where Tang Lian is recovering? How does he deal with what happened? Does he hear about the way his friends honored him at the banquet? What is going through his head when he decides to return to them?
Xiao Chong | Prince Bai: How is the emperor faring? He’s wanted this for a long time, but he’d accepted that his brother Xiao Chuhe would be the one to take the throne, so it has to be a huge thing for Emperor Chonghe to get used to! I’m also just invested in his relationship with Xiao Se in general, whether during or post canon. And his right hand man gave him his eyes, so anything to do with that devotion or them getting used to Xiao Chong being able to see and Zang Ming being blind could be interesting!
Xiao Lingchen (Lord Langya’s son): He spent years in exile after his father’s death. People try to get him to take the throne and he uses them instead to stop the coup. He assumes that Xiao Chuhe will understand his plans and play along, and he’s right. He tells the emperor he should give the throne to whatever son he likes the least bc it’s a curse. This character fascinates me, and I’d be happy with whatever you come up with for him!
Luo Mingxuan: Honestly this character gives me second hand embarrassment a lot but I am interested in his feels for/relationship with his shizun. Like, he’s been holding onto these feelings for years and then when he thinks he’s going to lose her he makes the world’s most embarrassing/scandalous love confession in public? I respect that! How does that turn out for him?

I just watched this show recently, and I love them <3 I don't have a lot of specific thoughts right now, but I'd be happy to receive whatever you are inspired to write! I definitely ship Yu Liang/Shi Guang, but you don't have to write something shippy necessarily! Their canon rivalry/bromance is great. Mei Changsu: Definitely my favorite character in the show. I am definitely more interested in the current time period of the show, not the flashback setting with Lin Shu, although it’s of course fine to mention that time! I enjoy his “smatter than everyone else in the room” energy as well as the limits of that. He always seems to know what’s going on, but he does make mistakes. If you want to include other characters with him, I particularly enjoy MCS/&XJY, MCS & LC (& FL), MCS/&MNH, MCS & Consort Jing
Xiao Jingyan: I would be interesting in something canon compliant, maybe to do with the identity porn thing. I also ship him with Mei Changsu (and Lin Shu) regardless of how much XJY knows at any point about the fact that they’re the same person. I also really enjoy him with his mom!
Gao Zhan: He’s the kind of character that I didn’t really notice until a certain moment and now I’m super curious. He’s got a lot of power in the palace; how did he get to this position? What did he think when Prince Qi and the Chiyan Battalion got accused of treason? What does he think of the emperor, and how has that changed over the years? After all, he spends all of his time with him. What tipped him over the edge to try to warn Consort Jing? Has he tried to interfere in less noticeable ways in the past?

This is an itsy bitsy fandom on AO3, but if you want to check it out and maybe watch it, it is available for free on YouTube with English subs. The show is 40 episodes long but the episodes are each only a couple of minutes. The whole thing is 2.5 hours
Xiao Tianyu: I love how he goes from an asshole that no one in the sect except da-shixiong can stand to being in absolute puppy love with Wang Xiaoyu! Also him proposing *during* the conversation about him liking her… clown behavior. I’m open to a wide range of themes for him, from the comedy of the show to the angst of the ending/post-canon
Wang Xiaoyu: Like XTY, I’m open to humor or angst for her. I think the way she gradually took her transmigration more seriously (and fell in love with the character she hated) is great. I rewatched the show recently, and her major (music) and pop culture references (Game of Thrones??) caught my attention a lot more this time.
Liu Lin: This is Umbrella Boy btw. I keep having to look up his name. I love the way he twirls into and out of drama, as well as his bromance with his da-shixiong. I also think the way his predictions are always wrong but he keeps making them is very interesting!

The original Shen Qingqiu is one of my favorite characters! He’s so tragic in the narrative because he’s dead before the story starts and yet he hangs over everything, and no one understands him. He definitely was not a perfect person, but I find him a very interesting one! You can go as angsty as you want (incl PIDW canon body horror), write some fix-it fic, interactions with the other peak lords, cuddling with the brothel jiejies… literally I would be happy with so many different things here!
If you want to include a ship, I have *a lot* for SJ… QIjiu, Bingjiu, Jiuplane, Jiuyuan, Bingqijiu, and Qijiuplane are some of my favorites.
