I especially like the first book in this series. I find the world-building to be pretty tight and a novel and satisfying take on vampires. I’m especially interested in the relationship between Ysidro and Grippen and their different forms of power and authority in (or at the edges of) vampire society.
I’m also interested in Grippen’s desire to turn James and the circumstances under which James might accept.
I’d also be totally happy with a more world-building/oc-focused fic!
In terms of genre, I’d love a focus on mystery/espionage/politics, with the atmosphere and the mere fact of vampires providing the horror.

People have called this "A League of Boyfriends," and I very much agree with that! My view is basically this gifset. Wang Yan and Zhang Ping are Lan Jue's boyfriends. Gu Qingzhang is Lan Jue's ex. The emperor and Chen Chou are Zhang Ping's boyfriends. (Although tbh I also get queerplatonic vibes from Chen Chou & Zhang Ping.) Just finished this show and I am obsessed!
I ship Fang Duobing/Li Lianhua, Fang Duobing/Li Lianhua/Di Feisheng, and Di Feisheng/Li Lianhua, and I'm also interested in any of those relationships platonically as well. I just love the dynamics between the three of them. They're all such interesting people on their own, and then you throw in things like Fang Duobing and Di Feisheng bickering over food, Di Feisheng and Li Lianhua as "old friends" who used to be enemies, Li Lianhua leaving Fang Duobing places but then also passing down his skills to him... There's a lot you could write about and I apologize for not having any real prompts. I read through basically all the MLC fic on AO3, I'll be happy with whatever you're inspired to write from this mess of a paragraph + my likes 😂

For Yun Biqiu, I am just intrigued by the info that came out at the end of the show, and I'd love to know what's going on in his head! When did he decide to betray Jiao Liqiao even tho no one would ever know? What was he thinking when he poisoned Li Xiangyi, and when did his priorities change?

- Vampire Queen/Bloodbag: The Bloodbag isn't there by choice and the Queen likes them in the sense that she finds them attractive and finds them fun to toy with. Their feeling on the matter can be anything: hating her guts, feeling awful because they're attracted to her despite everything, full-on Stockholm Syndrome.
- Superheroine/Supervillain: In terms of how morally gray I'd like the heroine to be, I'd say more on the darker side, in that she's not afraid to kill and may even have killed before. The supervillain can be any moral alignment, even an anti-hero. I'm interested in the villain feeling a sense of both dread and attraction when they're around the heroine and them being distressed by their own feelings. If the heroine finds out somehow, she can return his affection, or use it against him, or threaten him about it, your pick.
- Yandere attracted to other yandere: Exactly what it says on the tin. I prefer a focus on Yandere #1's feelings and what they do/feel about Yandere #2 having a different love interest. If #1 this involves kidnapping or violence and maybe even a confrontation, I don't have a preference about which yandere dominates the situation.
