Nominations Clarifications & Questions - 1

Hello everyone, thank you for all your great nominations so far! We have a handful of them that we wanted to clarify. Please check below to see if one of your noms is mentioned.
 

• Encanto (2021)
  • random townsperson, random traveller: Are these are intended to be effectively original characters? If so, for clarity's sake, we will edit the nominations to "Original Townperson" and "Original Traveller"
• Fire Emblem: Three Houses
  • Golden Deer Students (FE3H): We generally don't allow groups unless they only exist as a group/it's impossible to nominate the members individually.
• Guild Wars 2 (Video Game)
  • Any Charr Character (GW2), Any Hylek Character (GW2), Any Jotun/Giant Character (GW2), Any Ogre Character (GW2): Please be more specific in your nomination.
• Lobotomy Corporation
  • Abnormality (Lobotomy Corporation): From what we can tell, this is a category of beings encompassing a range of more specific characters. Is the character being nominated a specific Abnormality?
• Pocket Monsters | Pokemon (Main Video Game Series)
  • Any Pokemon (PMVGS): Please be more specific in your nomination.
• Snow White and the Seven Dwarves/Cinderella
  • Which version of these stories is being nominated? Disney movies, fairy tales, etc.?
• Supernatural
  • Any side character: Please be more specific in your nomination.

I did the Encanto and Snow White/Cinderella noms (Disney_Dark).

"Original Townperson" and "Original Traveller" for Encanto are perfect.

Snow White/Cinderella are meant to be the Disney version, sorry about that.

Hi! For being more specific about "Any Pokemon", would things like "Any Generation 1 Pokemon" and "Any Fairy Type Pokemon" be acceptable?

Hi, thank you for getting back to us! We definitely recognize the utility of being able to request or offer such tags, considering how limited request/offer slots are (and the sheer number of Pokemon!). However, at least for this current round, we are requiring more specificity.

Our concern with "Any" type nominations is that, especially if mods are unfamiliar with the canon, verifying that a requested character is in a work becomes trickier and at the very least more time-consuming, which impacts the work approvals process.

Still, we'll try to think of ways to make this workable on our end in future rounds, and we're open to feedback/ideas about it in the meantime! Apologies for the inconvenience, and please feel free to ask further questions.

Perfectly understandable, and oh my goodness yes, I didn’t realise how much work that would be for you if you’re unfamiliar with the (huge) selection of characters! I’ll stop being lazy and pick some individual Pokemon 🤣 Thank you for taking the time to explain!

The supernatural one may be mine. I guess I meant any other canon character as a secondary character but if it’s confusing just take it out. I got confused.

I nominated Luke Skywalker (Star Wars Legends), Mara Jade (Star Wars Legends), and
Wedge Antilles (Star Wars Legends) in Star Wars Legends - All Media Types. I see all three of them are assigned to the fandom but with a different disambiguating tag.
