I adore both the setting and how much the story is centered around women. I love that Liz is a fuck-up in her personal life lately but a great detective, that Navarro is determined to figure out who she is, and that Rose seems to get how the environment she lives in ticks.

In A Touch of Grey, the Dawn Treader lands on that island. Edmund, Eustace, and Caspian explore the island. Edmund eventually tells Lucy about what they saw there. It is a fantastic fic but be warned there is body horror, mostly fungal.

- An AU where things end much differently, for better or worse. Maybe the Hunter gets the Sleeper, or Ankhita talks things out with Ashton after all, or Ethan gets exactly what he wants (and has the chance to regret it)
- In my playthrough I thought it would be absolutely sick if, when Neovend and Ankhita are both looking for a shipmind, you could imprint Neovend onto the shipmind you give to Ankhita to install into the Ambergris. I'd love to see someone do something with this idea.
