Interested in anything that explores these characters separately or together (platonic, romantic, or sexual are all fine). I love their different approaches/views, which cause them to butt heads. Even though they both love hockey, even that manifests very differently.

What makes them compelling to me is that neither of them is particularly likable. Although Reggie seems willing to do anything to advance his mission, there are plenty of boundaries he seems reticent to cross (such as actually making a real move on Ned's wife, even after he convinces her to leave him). Meanwhile, Ned presents himself as a man of principle, but is actually quite inflexible. He isn't willing to bend for others (including... his wife).

Show me the days they get along and find something in common—or conversely, the occasions when they dig the rift between them deeper.
