Just feels like there’s some Kenneth Anger’s Fireworks in “Nobody Is Ever Missing” Kendall. Dodds offering him a smoke in that scene that is almost shot like Kendall is picking him up, then water and death, Kendall shivering and frightened by fireworks on his way back to the wedding venue, waking up the next morning and being brought back to reality by the cut on his wrist.

This show is hilarious and this dude is ridiculous. If I cringe any harder I might become a fossil.

My main thing with Kendall is that I read him as gay, and I’m interested in how that fits within the wider frame of Logan and the sibs pathologizing him throughout the series and conceptualizing him as mentally ill/disordered/screwy. Compulsory heterosexuality and narratives of coming out or being outed are like catnip to me, I’m into all things business and finance, plus I really really love Caroline/Kendall as childhood sexual abuse backstory, and Kendall/OMC where he settles down with a guy (post-canon and canon divergence equally welcome).

Some general likes (in no particular order): fantasy, magic, chess, angst, romance (I'm mainly a M/M reader but I'll read any and all gender combinations when it comes to that), enemies-to-lovers, rivals-to-lovers, antihero protagonists, moral ambiguity, music, mathematics, astronomy, tarot, runes, divination, morbid things, dark magic, military tactics, pure crackfic, unexpected settings - basically, I'm fine with anything from very serious to very... not. (In case you want to write smut: sure, that's great, too. Any rating is fine!)

I'll admit I'm mostly a fantasy and sci-fi reader, but I enjoy "modern" realistic settings, historical stories, ... so, basically, you have a lot of freedom here. If you're into worldbuilding, you can get as creative as you want! I enjoy unusual settings! If you're more into character-driven plots... "Generic fantasy-ish setting" will always work for me. Then again, seeing any of the selected tags in an entirely unexpected universe would be fun, too.

I simply love chess! I chose "any character", because hey, all chess pieces are nominated and they are all important, right? Basically, you can have fun with this, do a bit of worldbuilding (what is your "chess world" like?), write a romance between chess pieces (I'm mainly a M/M reader but I'll read any and all gender combinations when it comes to that), write a letter from one piece to another (yes, epistolary fic is fine), ... You can even write about players interacting with chess pieces. You can't go wrong.

You can be as nerdy as you like, here: I'm a tournament player, I will understand it. :D (You could even take a real game and comment it from the pieces' point of view.) However, don't worry, this is not a requirement: if you're not a serious player, I don't expect you to do any research or anything. As long as you know what the pieces are called, you can totally handwave the rest!

Ancient Greek Religion & Lore

Persephone is my favorite character in Greek Mythology, and I'd love anything that has to do with her. Some possible prompts:
- A retelling of any myth Persephone appears in, really. Other mythological characters can appear, I'd just like Persphone to be the main character.
- A day in Persphone's life.
- Also, changed settings and AUs are appreciated. Modern-day AU? IN SPACE? It's all good!
- Persephone in her aspect as a spring goddess.
- Persephone as the queen of the underworld.
- Something from the POV of a believer worshipping Persephone would also be very cool.
- If you offered Persephone in the hope of getting to write Hades/Persephone shipfic, you can also do that, absolutely! It's my Greek Mythology OTP!

Ancient History RPF

Anything that involves Alexander and/or Hephaistion is great. You can focus on the historical military campaigns and get nerdy about that. (I mean it. Military history is fascinating!) You can write an everyday scene. You can focus on the relationship between these guys. (So much potential! For that matter: shipfic is totally fine.) You can change the setting and, for example, retell the whole thing in a fantasy world, or, why not?!?, IN SPACE. I'm all for it!

When it comes to narrative style: I'm fine with absolutely anything, including styles that are usually considered opt-in (like 1st-person or 2nd-person POV, epistolary fic, diary entries, poetry, nonlinear storytelling, or more experimental writing modes.)

Nibelungenlied

Characters: Volker von Alzey (Nibelungenlied), Hagen von Tronje (Nibelungenlied)

Volker and Hagen are my favorite Nibelungenlied characters, and I will be happy about any and all fic starring either one or both of them! Hagen with his weird supernatural encounters and his, ahem, loyalty issues... Volker and his music entwined with the ever-present violence... Can be a missing scene, a deviation from canon, or even wildly AU.

If you want to write something involving both characters: while I certainly ship them (and anyway, the homoerotic subtext between these two is strong enough that serious scholars *have* commented on it: it’s perfectly possible to read Hagen and Volker as a couple), I’m just as happy to see the canonical themes of friendship (unto death), trust (unto death), (il)loyalty (unto death) and so on explored. Also, while these characters are clearly not *good guys*, I don’t view them as villains, either. I can live with some moral ambivalence.

Stylistically, I’m open to anything, including the more unusual modes of storytelling. 1st or 2nd person POV? Epistolary? Poetry? Whatever it is – if you have an idea that requires a nonstandard form, please, go for it! I *will* enjoy it. If you want to include material from other sources about the same plot, you can do that, too. (Oh, and I’m also open to verse in Middle High German, no problem. Mentioning this just in case you wanted to have some extra fun. XD)

Canon-specific DNWs: I know this canon has been abused for some seriously distasteful propaganda, but, please, I'm in it for the medieval poetry, not for inhumane politics, okay?

Norse Religion & Lore

Characters: Óðinn | Odin (Norse Religion & Lore)

I guess what makes Odin so interesting to me is that, on the one hand, he is the god of wisdom, knowledge, and poetry, and on the other hand, he is also the rage and ecstasy of battle, and in all his aspects, he is a god of extremes. If you already have some specific myth about Odin in mind that you want to write about, that's great, I'll love it! Just in case you need some specific prompts:
- Odin's never-ending quest for new knowledge! Whether that's sacrificing an eye for the sake of wisdom or sacrificing himself to himself (literally) for the sake of the runes, gaining new understanding is Serious Business for this guy, and I'd love something that focuses on that.
- Odin as the wanderer, perhaps even interacting with humans, because those stories are always interesting. You can lean into the shamanistic aspects of that, too.
- The Wild Hunt is an interesting topic, right? I'm aware there's no definite "canon" to this - you find very different stories, depending on whether you're in the early Middle Ages or in modern(ish) folklore - but anything is good.
- Battle ecstasy. Go ahead, give me a battle scene with some divine inspiration. XD
- When it comes to Odin's interactions with other gods and other mythological figures: sure, anyone else can appear as a side character.

DNWs: I feel that in this "fandom" I kind of have to suspend my usual DNWs regarding extreme violence, because those would be ridiculous. XD However, I'm not loking for smut, here, so... no explicit sex in this fandom, please.

So, Inanna happens to be my favorite Mesopotamian goddess... (You can of course mention other characters from Mesopotamian mythology if your drabble needs them.) Any and all specific prompts are just in case you need an idea, and can be happily ignored otherwise!

Some options for you:
- Inanna's Descent. It's such a wonderful myth, I'd love something about it.
- Inanna in her aspect as the war goddess.

- Inanna worship - does she ever interact with her believers, directly or indirectly? Does she listen to prayers? I'd love such a scene.
